    Balance Changes

The update focuses on bringing balance to the competitive scene by adjusting stats, moves, and abilities for various Pokemon. Here's a rundown of the key changes:

    Buffs:

    • Blaziken: The fiery chicken gets a boost to its Blaze ability, healing for more HP, especially when under half health. Focus Blast and Blaze Kick cooldowns are also reduced by 1 second each.
    • Slowbro: Slack Off now heals for more HP, and Surf's cooldown is shortened. Scald's burn effect is even more devastating, reducing the opponent's attack power by 60%.

    • Mimikyu: Shadow Claw heals for more HP, and Play Rough's movement speed debuff is stronger. Play Rough+ also sees a cooldown reduction.
    • Venusaur: Sludge Bomb packs a meaner punch, dealing more damage on hit and increasing poison damage. It also applies a stronger Special Defense decrease for a longer duration.
    • Absol: Pursuit deals more damage from the front, making frontal assaults more rewarding. Psycho Cut's blade damage also gets a significant buff.
    • Garchomp: This fearsome dragon becomes even tougher with a reduced effect from opponent attacks. Earthquake and Dig sees increases in damage, and Dragon Rush/Dragon Rush+ gets an even faster cooldown.
    • Duraludon: While its basic attack speed takes a hit, Duraludon receives compensation through an enhanced attack with lower HP cost and a damage boost for Dragon Pulse. Stealth Rock's immobilization threshold is reduced, making it a more potent zoning tool. Duraludon's Unite Move, Revolving Ruin, gets a makeover, knocking back opponents and dealing more beam damage. However, the continuous damage from the flame trail is toned down.

    Nerfs:

Trevenant: Wood Hammer and Curse see damage reductions and a cooldown increase for Wood Hammer.

    • Hoopa: Hoopa's supportive capabilities are slightly reduced with Trick and Trick+ providing less healing.
    • Leafeon: Chlorophyll's movement speed boost is toned down, and Solar Blade deals slightly less damage.
    • Tyranitar: This rock-type titan takes a stat nerf with a decrease in base attack. Sand Tomb's damage reduction and Stone Edge damage are also reduced. Tyranitar's Unite Move, Tyrannical Rampage, also deals less damage.
    • Scizor/Scyther: Swords Dance gets a longer cooldown.
    • Miraidon: Electro Drift and its empowered version deal slightly less damage.

    • That's not all! Be sure to check the official patch notes for a detailed breakdown of all the changes. With the return of Pika Party and a host of balance adjustments, Pokemon UNITE is set to deliver a fresh and exciting experience for trainers of all skill levels.
