Pokémon UNITE Asia Champions League 2025: India League Announced!

Pokémon UNITE has just revealed exciting updates about the India League for the Asia Champions League (ACL) 2025. Following the announcement of the larger ACL 2025 event and its Japan League, fans now have new details about the India region’s involvement.


Overview of ACL 2025


Earlier this year, Pokémon UNITE unveiled the Asia Champions League 2025, which will see top teams from various Asian regions compete for a place in the grand ACL Finals. In Japan, eight invited teams will compete for the top four spots to qualify for the ACL Finals. Additionally, the Japan Winter Tournament will give another team the chance to earn their spot.


For Southeast Asia, 10 teams from APAC West, APAC East, and Korea have been selected. However, details about their Winter Tournament and the number of qualifiers are yet to be announced.


India League: Key Announcements


On October 30, more information about the India League of ACL 2025 was unveiled. Eight organizations have been invited to join this franchised league:


  • S8uL


  • GodLike Esports


  • Gods Reign


  • Global Esports


  • True Rippers


  • Marcos Gaming


  • Reckoning Esports


  • Revenant Esports



These teams will participate in a group stage format, followed by a single-elimination phase. The winner of this league will directly qualify for the ACL Finals.


Winter Tournament for India


In addition to the India League, Pokémon UNITE announced a Winter Tournament, which will be open to all teams across the region. This open tournament provides an additional path to the ACL Finals, with the winning team earning a coveted spot.


Key Dates


League Start Date: The India League, along with the SEA and Japan Leagues, will kick off on November 16, 2024.


Winter Tournament: Starting in late December, this tournament will run through February, providing an extended opportunity for more teams to compete for the ACL Finals.
