AXIZ: A New Chapter in the Competitive Scene

In October 2024, a new team, AXIZ, was announced in the competitive gaming world. Led by Yupono, a name familiar to fans from Unite Holic (UH), the team brings together a blend of seasoned players and fresh talent. Here's a breakdown of the team's formation and its key members:

Leadership and Core Duo: Yupono and Polin

The duo of Yupono and Polin (also known as DlR) forms the backbone of AXIZ. Both players have a history with Unite Holic, a notable team that disbanded in September 2023.

- Yupono: 

  - Joined Unite Holic in November 2023 and played until the team’s disbandment.

  - Before leading AXIZ, he left his mark on UH, which was known for competing at a high level during its active period.

- Polin: 

  - A significant figure in the competitive scene, Polin played with Secret Ship in 2023 and represented them at Worlds 2023.

  - Later, he became an initial member of Unite Holic, joined by Yupono shortly after.

  - Polin competed with UH until the EUIC 2024 before transitioning to another team for the PJCS 2024 qualifiers.

Additional Players Joining AXIZ

- Laby: Laby joined UH after the team finished in 5th place in the PJCS 2024. His addition to AXIZ marks a continuation of his competitive journey.

- Shiel: A former player from the team Violet, Shiel helped them qualify for the finals of the Winter Tournament 2023 as the #1 champion in the Winter qualifiers. Unfortunately, Violet couldn’t secure a win in the finals, but Shiel’s experience makes him a valuable asset to AXIZ.

- Bagel: Known within the community as a Caster, he is one of the Unity Clash JP caster and analyst, Bagel has transitioned into a playing role. His background includes serving as a coach for Mjk in the 2023 season and competing in League of Legends (Wild Rift) under DetonatioN in 2021.

Support Staff and Analysts

- Omutero: Serving as both the reserve player and the analyst for AXIZ, Omutero brings critical insights from his time at el Dive Gaming, where he played alongside Yupono during the PJCS 2023. After that, he joined Connect Gear, expanding his experience as both a player and analyst.

With AXIZ now on the scene, the team is well-positioned to make an impact, leveraging the collective experience of its players. Fans of competitive gaming will undoubtedly keep an eye on how AXIZ performs in upcoming tournaments.
