The Asia Champions League (ACL) 2025 commenced this weekend, featuring high-level Pokémon Unite competition across three regions: ACL Japan League, India League, and SEA League. Organized by The Pokémon Company International, this franchised league invites 8-10 top teams, each backed by prominent organizations, to battle for regional supremacy and qualification to the grand ACL Finals.

ACL Japan League Overview
The ACL Japan League boasts a roster of eight invited teams, including:

Circuit Dates: November 16, 17, 30; December 14, 15; January 11, 25
Daily Structure:
Each circuit day features a Single-Elimination Bracket where matchups for Round 1 are drawn randomly.Point System: Teams earn points based on their daily placements:
1st: 20 points
2nd: 15 points
3rd: 12 points
4th: 10 points
5th: 8 points
6th: 6 points
7th: 4 points
8th: 3 points
After seven circuit days, teams are seeded into a Double-Elimination Bracket based on their points. The Top 4 teams from the Japan League qualify for the ACL Finals.
Day 1: November 16
Day 1 began with exciting matchups, particularly the clash of Japan's top two teams, Fennel and Zeta Division.
Round 1 Results:
Fennel vs. Zeta Division: Fennel, the reigning World Champions (2024), dominated with a clean sweep.
Sengoku Gaming vs. Nagoya Oja: Sengoku triumphed 2-0.
Reject vs. Yoshimoto Gaming: Reject cruised to a 2-0 win.
Axiz vs. Insomnia: Axiz edged out Insomnia in a thrilling Game 3.
Round 2 Results:
Fennel defeated Sengoku Gaming in a fierce rivalry match between former teammates Ton GG and Mame.

Week 3rd of the Japan League took place after 2 weeks on 30 November. There was only a patch on the 4th of December where Pokemons like; Tsareena, Buzzwole, Inteleon, Decidueye, Cramorant, Chandelure, Dodrio, Talonflame, Scyther, Clefable, Sableye, Delphox, Metagross, Armarouge got buffed while Pokemons like Leafeon, Sylveon, Crustle, Tyranitar, Duraludon (?), Wigglytuff, Venusaur, Machamp, Absol, Mr. Mime, Garchomp, Umbreon, Blaziken, Psyduck, Darkrai, Charizard got Nerfed and it affected the META Game a lot.

Nagoya Oja defeated the 2nd Seed ZETA Division 2-0
Insomnia defeated Yoshimoto Gaming 2-1 in a close game 3
FENNEL went against Sengoku Gaming and they defeated SG 2-0

Reject got defeated by Nagoya Oja 2-0
Insomnia did it again, they defeated FENNEL once again 2-1 and no-one saw it coming, it was rather another shock as similar happened 2 weeks ago on 30th November
Final Matches:
3rd Place Match took place between Fennel and Reject but Fennel defeated Reject 2-1
The Grand Finals took place between Nagoya Oja and Insomnia, these teams made it to Grand Finals for the first time in the league. Insomnia won 2-1 in a close game 3
